A simple story for your day…
The “boss” was nice enough to give me the afternoon off today, so I took advantage of a beautiful MN day and went for a bike ride.
It’s hot and I stopped in a suburb called Hamel about halfway through the ride to get water and Gatorade.
The cashier saw me ride in and lean my bike on the side of the gas station. Then, when I walked in wearing my bike jersey, bike shoes, bike helmet, and set my fluids on the counter, he says to me:
“Can I interest you in a car wash today?”
Look up every now and then. Notice things. Be present. Read the room. It’s just not that hard 🙂
Keep Outperforming,
